Why fly with Asiana Airlines

Baggage Allowance

All Economy class passengers on Asiana Airlines flights are given a complimen-tary hand baggage allowance of 10kg, as well as about 23kg for check-in bag-gage. Luggage that exceeds the weight limit will be subject to excess-baggage charges, which can range from USD25-400 depending on amount of excess and flight duration. Special baggage handling options are also available for those travelling with sports or musical equipment. Please refer to the Asiana Airlines website for more details.

Inflight services

All passengers on Asiana Airlines flights have complimentary access to its AVOD (audio and video on demand) inflight entertainment system, which offers a se-lection of local and international movies, music and games. A variety of in-flight hot meals are also made available to all passengers, but those with unique die-tary restrictions are advised to pre-order a special meal from the Asiana Airlines website at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight.

The option to pre-select one’s seat is available during the online check-in procedure, unless the booking involves a group of 10 or more. Passengers can log-in to the system to amend their seat preference until 48 hours be-fore the scheduled departure of the flight, but the airline reserves the right to move passengers to different seats with no prior notice.

How to Check In

Online check-in is available for certain Asiana Airlines flights, and will be open for use 48 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight. After going through the online check-in process, passengers will be able to select their boarding pass issuance method: they can either receive the boarding pass via email, SMS, or self-print it, so they need only drop off their check-in baggage upon arrival at the airport. Please refer to the Asiana Airlines website to find out if online check-in is avail-able for your flight.
