The Tan Son Nhat International Airport is made up of two main passenger terminals - domestic (terminal 2) and international (terminal 1). There are plenty of facilities available at the airport for the modern traveller. For instance, currency exchange counters, luggage storage, mobile device charging, spa and showers can be found at the airport. Complimentary WiFi is also provided here at the airport but if you have a late (or early morning) flight to catch, do note that most restaurants close by 11:00PM. There are dedicated Sleep Zones at the airport for travellers on a longer layover. Travelling to and from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to Ho Chi Minh City’s city center

It is fairly affordable and easy to get from the Tan Son Nhat International Airport to the city center of Ho Chi Minh. As you exit through the main door of the terminal building, you will notice the main taxi queue - most rides to a hotel in District 1 should not cost more than SGD 9.10 (USD 6.60). Alternatively, if you are worried about getting ripped off or getting scammed, you may also choose to purchase a prepaid taxi voucher for no more than SGD 13.40 (USD 9.70). For a more affordable way to get into the city, check out Bus Number 109 which will take you from the international terminal to Pham Ngu Lao Street (in the city) in approximately 45 minutes.
