The Ninoy Aquino International Airport is the only official airport that serves the city of Manila. There are four main airport terminals here at the airport but a fifth one has been announced to carry only low-cost carriers.

If you have a short layover or simply do not want to take your chances with the traffic conditions in Manila, there are several restaurants, bars and coffee shops to choose from in Terminal. Travelling to and from Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Manila’s city center

The most convenient way to get from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport to the city center is via an airport metered taxi (these are coloured in yellow) - you will find them as you step out from the arrival hall. Depending on the traffic conditions, a ride from the airport to the city might take 30 to 60 minutes but it should not cost more than SGD 8.40 (USD 6). Buses and jeepneys are also available, and they generally cost at least ten times lesser. However, it can get crowded during the peak hours and first-time visitors are generally advised to avoid them.
