Air China Flights

Air China Limited, the flag carrier and one of the major airlines in the People's Republic of China, carries an average number of over 50 million passengers flying to domestic and international locations. It was established in 1988, as an effort to divide the operating divisions of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) into six separate airlines. Air China was one of them, with China Eastern, China Southern, China Northern, China Southwest, and China Northwest. The five airlines handle a big share of the country's domestic flights in different regions, while Air China operates the intercontinental flights and long-haul aircraft. Its headquarters is in Shunyi District in Beijing, while its operations are based out of Beijing Capital International Airport.

This flagship airline has also consolidated ties with subsidiaries such as Air Macau and Cathay Pacific, which increased its presence in the two major tourist attractions in the region. It has also increased its shareholdings on some domestic airlines such as Shenzhen Airlines and China Southwest. It was embroiled in a situation, however, which involved transporting primates to laboratories in the United States. A number of the primates died in transit due to the lack of care and inhospitable circumstances. The airline has vowed not to transport such creatures anymore, which animal activist organisations supported.

These days, Air China's route network extends throughout Middle East, Western Europe, and North America. It has also reached a significant number of Asian, Australian, and European destinations from Shanghai, as well as Chengdu, Chongqing, Dalian, Hangzhou, Kunming, and Xiamen. Codeshare arrangements were also made with Air Canada, Air Macau, Air New Zealand, ANA, Asiana Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Cathay Pacific, China Express Airlines, Dragonair, EgyptAir, El Al, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA Air, Finnair, Hawaiian Airlines, Kunming Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, Shandong Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, South African Airways, TAP Portugal, Tibet Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Uni Air, United Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic.
