All flights from Krabi going towards Bangkok leave from the Domestic Terminal of Krabi Airport. The Krabi Airport Domestic Terminal has ample features to make all travellers comfortable, safe, and secure.
Meanwhile, upon arrival to Bangkok, travellers will either be welcomed through the domestic terminals of Suvarnabhumi International Airport or of Don Mueang International Airport. Specifically, Bangkok Airways, Thai Airways, and Thai Smile, fly between Krabi and Bangkok via Suvarnabhumi International Airport. On the other hand, Thai AirAsia, Thai Lion Air, and Nok Air fly to the older Don Mueang International Airport.
Both domestic terminals have services to connect travellers to central Bangkok; however in proximity, Suvarnabhumi International Airport is quite nearer to the city centre. Suvarnabhumi International Airport has the Airport Rail Link which runs above the regional railway lines and parallel to the No. 7 Motorway and Si Rat Expresswat. The Airport Rail Link has two interchange stations, Phaya Thai and Makkasan. The nearest regional train station to Suvarnabhumi International Airport is Hua Takhe, which has services to Rangsit via downtown Bangkok and Don Mueang International Airport. A shuttle bus transports the passengers from the airport to Hua Takhe railway station. If going between the airports in Bangkok, a free bus service connects Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang. There are also here city bus routes that link the airports to the city proper.
Since the flight is domestic by nature, domestic travellers would just have to prepare their flight itineraries/confirmation along with two valid IDs to be presented upon check-in to the airport. International travellers meanwhile have additional requirements, including their visa requirements (if applicable), travel taxes (if any and if applicable), and their passports in addition to ample identification documents. All passengers however, are expected to be on their best behaviour, and should strictly follow the rules and regulations of the airport and the airlines that they leave from and fly with. Travellers are also advised to be at the airport/s of departure at least one to two hours before their scheduled flight time, to give way for smooth check-in and security/pre-flight checks.
