Getting from the airport to the city is relatively easy if you intend to take a public taxi - purchase a prepaid coupon just outside international arrivals for approximately MYR 30 (SGD 10 or USD 7) and the journey should take around 20-25 minutes.

      There are a number of international fast food chains in Kuching Airport - the most notable ones being McDonald’s, KFC and Starbucks. If you would like to enjoy some Malaysian cuisine before leaving, the Old Town White Coffee is probably your best bet at the airport. There is also a paid airport lounge (Plaza Premium) where you can enjoy some hot food and beverages if you are here on a longer layover or if your flight got delayed.
