Lien Khuong Airport serves the city of Dalat, the capital of the Lâm Đồng Province in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. The largest airport of the province, Lien Khuong Airport handles about 800,000 travellers annually and is located about 30 kilometres from the heart of Dalat city. Though the air facility was established in the 1930s, the passenger terminal is rather modern as it was replaced with a brand-new 2-storey compound in 2009.

Where to go
Lien Khuong Airport’s most popular air route may well to Ho Chi Minh City, with more than 6 flights there offered a day. Though not the capital, the ancient city of Saigon is the most populous of Vietnam and also one of the most culturally important due to its rich and turbulent history. If there, don’t miss a visit to the immense subterranean network of underground passages called the Cu Chi Tunnels, which once served as hiding places and secret transportation routes for the Viet Cong soldiers during the Vietnam War.
Also available from Lien Khong Airport - a direct flight to the actual capital city, Hanoi. If you tire of the hustle and bustle of urban life, Hanoi is the gateway to the idyllic serenity of Halong Bay. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Halong Bay is a natural wonder that consists of amazing geologic creations like Karst lakes, little limestone islets, natural grottoes and caves, hidden beaches and more, all set within the clear green sea. Be sure to take a boat cruise out to explore the many little-before-seen islands just out of reach of the mainland, and pack your gear in preparation for lots of kayaking, scuba diving, snorkelling, rock climbing, or just basking on the pristine beaches.
