The city of Paris is served by 2 international air facilities, Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airports. Charles de Gaulle is the busiest air transport hub in France and the main international gateway into the country, but is located further from the city centre than Orly Airport. Both airports handle long- and short-haul international flights, but those from Asia will touch down only at Charles de Gaulle (as of December 2016) whilst flights from the Americas and other parts of Europe may arrive at either airports.
- Charles de Gaulle Airport is located about 25 kilometres from Paris. A taxi ride from the airport to the city would take around 30 minutes at a fare of about EUR 50-60 (SGD 75-90).
- Orly Airport is located about 5 kilometres closer to Paris than Charles de Gaulle. A taxi ride to the city should not cost much more than EUR 39-45 (SGD 58-68) and should take about half an hour as well.

Best Time to Visit Paris
