The city of Dogonbadan, also known as Gachsaran is the capital of Gachsaran County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province in Iran. According to the 2006 census, the city’s population is 81,902. Its people speak in Southern Lurish, Kurdish, and Qashqai Turkic. The city is known as an oil- and gas-producing city, which recently expanded to gain profits from its industrial capacity. Before reaching Dale Vullage, through the mountain road heading to Mount Khamyn (Khvmy) is a good resort to relax in. There’s also the Red Khavyyz conservation area, which is home to several animal species, and Venus River.
