The city of Rome is served by 2 international airports - Leonardo da Vinci Airport (also known as Fiumicino Airport) and Ciampino Airport. Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport is the larger of the 2 and the main international gateway into Rome, whilst Ciampino Airport only handles short-haul regional flights from Europe.

Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport is Italy’s first airport and consists of 4 passenger terminals. It is located about 26 kilometres from the Eternal City. A taxi ride to the city would cost about €48 (SGD 72.81) and take about 45 minutes.
Ciampino Airport is located only about 12 kilometres from central Rome, so a taxi ride from the airport to city would cost only about €30 (SGD 45.51) and take around half an hour.
