DEPARTURE FROM SINGAPORE CHANGI AIRPORT (SIN)
Hopping on a train to get to the Singapore Changi Airport is a great idea so long you have some time to spare. For just SGD 2 (USD 1.50), you will be able to get to Terminal 3 of the airport and the journey should not take more than 45 minutes if you are coming from the city center. A bus alternative (for roughly the same price) is also available if you would like to go directly to a terminal of your choice but the SkyTrain in the airport will be an even better option. If you are rushing for time or are just simply looking for comfort, a public taxi will take you from door to door for approximately SGD 20 (USD 15) to SGD 30 (USD 22) - this journey should not take more than 25 minutes unless there is heavy traffic. Parking at the airport can be quite costly as a fee of SGD 0.04 (USD 0.03) a minute with a daily limit of SGD 57.60 (USD 42.40) will apply.
