Still a gem

This continues to be the best hotel I stay in each year (and I travel around the world for business). You are looked after superbly, it’s in a perfectly quiet location, nothing is too much trouble and your rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds, good bathrooms and fantastically well cleaned. We come back each year; we leave refreshed and vowing to return.

You should stay here!

Super nice, clean and pretty hotel. Room has everything as advertised. When we checked in, they gave us our food options for dinner and breakfast, and were super helpful with my Celiac/Gluten issues. Dinner was delicious. I’m sure breakfast will be as well. Stayed here while walking the Camino Portuguese. Grocery stores are just about a 1/2 mile away. The sisters who seem to be managing the place are kind and professional.

Peaceful location

We greatly enjoyed our stay. This hotel is very close to the Portuguese Camino coastal route. We were on bicycles and it was also close to the route we took. The setting is so peaceful and the hostess is very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed waking to the songs of birds.

Loved it!

A gorgeous spot to stay on our Camino. Staff were very friendly, rooms were lovely & comfortable, surroundings & garden beautiful to sit and have a drink after a long walk. Vanessa cooked a delicious meal for dinner & breakfast was also great. Would definitely stay here again if on the Camino.

Perfect Casa Rural

Such a lovely peaceful place with mountain and country views. Excellent modern facilities, beautifully presented rooms, each with a wine theme. Very comfortable beds The garden surrounds are well maintained with outdoor seating in both sun and shade, and a dear little cat who comes to greet you. Food is delicious and our host was charming, friendly, welcoming and could not do enough for us. Very sad we could only stay one night.
