Great hosts and friendly staff. Great experience

I had a wonderful stay at Riad 26 and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech.
The breakfast was excellent and much more generous than what many riads offer. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and I was pleasantly surprised to have a large double bed even as a solo traveller.
What really makes this place special is the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming throughout my stay. One afternoon, while relaxing and reading on the rooftop terrace, I was even brought some homemade biscuits, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The riad offers fantastic value for money, a warm atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. I would highly recommend it to solo travellers, female travellers, and families looking for a comfortable and safe place to stay in Marrakech.

A simply exceptional stay at Riad 26!

We stayed 4 nights in Marrakech and from the first to the last day everything was absolutely perfect. Every day was even better than the last, which made our stay unforgettable.
Breakfasts are a real pleasure: delicious, generous and prepared with great care. A huge thank you to Tawfik, as well as all the other staff, for their kindness and constant attention. They were very caring with us throughout the stay, always with a smile.
The riad is ideally located in the heart of the medina. We had a real crush on this street, full of charm and authenticity. It is less than a 10-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna Square and Bahia Palace, which is perfect for exploring Marrakech on foot.
We will definitely recommend this riad to all our entourage. And when we come back to Marrakech — because we will necessarily come back — this is where we will choose to stay again.
We leave with wonderful memories and will return with great pleasure.

Amazing Riad

Stayed here ro celebrate my daughters 18th and they went above and beyond to make our stay special. Arrived and were welcomed with morrocan tea and biscuits and made to feel like we were visiting family. They decorated the bed with flowers and a happy birthday sign. There was even cheesecakes with candles in with a little happy birthday note. The rooms were clean/ modern with a traditional feel to them and very comfy. The breakfast was amazing and set you up for a day if exploring. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone always had a smile on their faces. It really did feel like we were staying with family. I will be recommending anyone i know travelling to marrakech to stay here! Perfect location for exploring the city. Thank you Riad 26 for helping make our trip so special.

Don't. If you care about your sleep, tranquility and hygiene, don’t go.

We have experienced a persistent unhealthy situation and shocking management.
In our room, we observed live cockroaches repeatedly: 7 in total, at different times of the stay, with supporting photo and video evidence. The next morning, two more live cockroaches were observed, including in the presence of staff.
The most striking and shocking point is that one of the cockroaches is mounted on my arm, which gives a very concrete idea of the level of discomfort and the health problem encountered.
It is therefore not “an isolated incident”: it is a recurring problem. And that’s precisely where this establishment seems not to understand (or pretends not to understand) a simple reality: when you see cockroaches in a room, the problem is not solved with a simple cleaning. A professional protocol is required (traps, targeted treatment, follow-up). Here we have been told about “disinfection” by staff, but no serious and lasting solution has been put in place.
Worst of all, after a first change of room in the middle of the night, we were then forced to return to the original room, the one where the cockroaches had been observed, for the reason of organization and reservations. In other words, you report a health problem, and they put you back in it.
The result was constant stress, sleepless nights, fatigue, and a planned activity had to be cancelled.
Finally, management added to the unhealthy human management: no clear excuses, downplaying, and an arrogant tone in the exchanges, including a message along the lines of “we don’t bow to any customers here”. This is not an acceptable way to talk to customers who report a hygiene problem.
Practical advice if you’ve been there before: carefully inspect your belongings, avoid placing your luggage on the ground, and check your clothes before leaving.
Conclusion, this is not a place to rest. It is a place where you suffer. I definitely advise against it.

Great!

Marrakech Express. We very much enjoyed our stay of a few days at Riad 26. It is ideally located to explore the city, positioned in the busy Medina and only a few minutes stroll from the main square. Our room was well equipped, with a TV, a fridge stocked with two bottles of mineral water and a kettle with mugs (plus coffee and tea bags). The bed and pillows were comfortable. And the shower was superb, with plenty of hot water. Breakfasts were really nice and filling too: juice, bread, pancakes, cheese, eggs, jam, honey, tea and coffee. The breakfasts set us up nicely for each day, fuelling us explore the Souks and other sights in the city. All of the staff were super helpful and polite, with special thanks to Taoufik for all of his kind assistance and advice. Our song title for this review is inspired by our own train journey across Morocco to Marrakech, and the pace and excitement of the Souks and Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Recommended to other visitors to this exciting and vibrant city.
