The best hotel in Tulum

This is our second stay at Casa Malca. It’s more than just the novelty of the art. The service is first class. The food is fantastic and the setting is the best in the hotel zone. Any seaweed on the beach was removed straight away whereas the rest of the hotels had huge piles of seaweed building up. The beach is deeper than any other hotel and the sun loungers are set back under palm trees keeping your space private but still directly beach front. Clemente and Fausto did everything possible to make sure we had the best time. Breakfast is fantastic quality. We will be back again soon.

We had an exceptional stay at Casa Malca from start to finish. The entire experience exceeded our expectations.
The staff were outstanding throughout our stay—friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and their genuine hospitality made a lasting impression.
The location was ideal for us: peacefully removed from the busier party areas, yet still conveniently close to a great selection of restaurants, bars, and local attractions.
The property itself is beautiful, with its unique design, eclectic artwork, and distinctive character creating a truly memorable atmosphere. Every detail adds to the charm and brings the hotel to life.
Breakfast was another highlight. Each morning we enjoyed ordering from a varied menu, and every dish we tried was fresh, well-prepared, and delicious.
We genuinely could not fault our experience at Casa Malca. It is a special place that combines luxury, character, and exceptional service, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Casa Malca. While the property may lack some of the amenities of other hotels on Tulum Beach Rd., Casa Malca features artworks from the renowned collector Lio Malca’s personal collection in the hotel and around the grounds, so it’s a must for art enthusiasts. Additionally, the staff are all extraordinary, addressing us by name and attending to every detail of our stay.

I was asked to review some policies of this hotel afeter some complains of other customers.
Breakfast was included in my reservation. Every morning after breakfast I asked for the bill to sign. The waiter always let clear that there was nothing to pay because breakfast was included. Only sign here, they said.
When I checkout for my surprise I had 650 to pay for TIPS. Tips I never gave or Autorized.
The hotel is great but that kind of behavior is ofensive and dishonest.
It was not for the money, but for the honesty.
I hated that.
So If you are going to stay with them, be carefull with the waiters and your bills. They say one thing and you will pay for "extras" at the end.
Rooms are great.
Concierge great
Reception great
Bellboys great ( I even gave them tips "of my own will in dólar)
Honesty and transparency Zero at the checkout and restaurante. They put you in a situation very unpleasant.
Waiters always want something more. Chating with other clients present complained that after refusing extras tips waiters changed for a bad face behavior.
