Excellent

Clean, quiet family run business. Very friendly and would highly recommend. Low budget and a bit dated but what more would you need?would come to this place again. Easy to find, located behind a bar/restaurant.

Great value! Good room, great location.

Payed about 27 Euros per night.
Also stayed i #10.
Spacey, cool fridge, air condition. Small bathroom with good water pressure. Clean and tidy place. Balcony door opens to a large balcony used by other residents also. Right now I think I'm the only guest here, so it's all calm and quiet.
1 minute walk to shops and boats. 10 seconds to the bars (Gregorys).
I was sceptical looking online at this place. No worries! I would stay here again.

Nice studio in good location

Stayed for 5 nights in what was advertised as a budget/economy studio. I've stayed in a lot of Greek studios and this was better than that.
The studio is approached from port along the sea front. Pop into Gregory's Bar (brilliant place!) and they will take you a few steps down the alley behind and into the studios. The studios are in a really good position.
The lady wasn't around but my name and room number had been left. My twin studio was on the first floor. It opened onto a big shared terrace. Overlooked by houses but ok. There were two washing lines and tables and chairs. This sort of set up is OK depending on your neighbours. At one point I had some noisy ones (mature) who had friends come to sit at the tables outside their studio for drinks ... noisily dragging mine over to use too. If you don't mind partying outside your bedroom you'll be ok. Not Kalliroi's fault, just some people are inconsiderate.
The studio was large. The kitchen facilities looked ok but all I used was the fridge. There was a tv and air con. No wi fi, safe or hair dryer.
Twin beds were comfy and there was plenty of storage.
The bathroom was small but modern and immaculate. The shower had good pressure and hot water. No shower curtain but big enough do as not to flood the room. Towels were changed frequently.
The lady came to introduce herself. She doesn't speak a lot of English but we could understand each other. Just beware ... she will knock and if you don't answer she'll let herself in. If you don't want to be caught in an embarrassing situation then lock the door and leave your key in the lock.
On my last day I had an afternoon ferry and check out is advertised as by noon. Planned to go out and have a leisurely breakfast and last look around before coming back to freshen up. Made the mistake of opening the terrace doors and at 9am I was being badgered to check out. Good job I had packed. Left my luggage downstairs and was given a key to get back in the property. Little bit annoying. I would happily stay here again.

Thrilled with Pythagorion port area

My experience was very much like the other reviews. First time to this area of Samos. My arrival instructions were to get key at Gregory's Bar. Found bar, got keys, and had a deliciously cold beer. Then a very short walk down nice alley to entry door on left. Had Studio #10. Was just fine. A bit pricy for what I got. But the location is really good (if you are interested in the harbor front goings-on). I saved the bz card and will use again. I like the area (there 3 nights). I left Pythagorion for Samos Town to catch ferry (3-nights). Mistake, should have stayed in Pythagorion more, and less in Samos Town (aka Varthi).
I did not experience any generator noise from neighbors. It was still warm and I used the A/C when ever I was in the Studio. Also, the deck off the Studio is good sized and has a area to hang/dry clothes. Good place to take a break and have a glass of wine (note: no view)...Finally, no Wi-Fi. I was never able to get any Wi-Fi. room or reception area. I went to Gregory's Bar, bought a drink and used the internet there.

All You Need, Really

Stayed here for 2 nights on way to Agathonissi, Arki, Lipsi and Leros. Recommend the ferry Nissiros Kalymnos for that trip.
Nice location down a lane and out of the way of the noise of the harbour front restaurants and cafes. The neighbor opposite has quite a large generator of some sort that goes on all night though.
Rooms were all you need for the price we paid via a booking website. Clean and sufficient for 2 nights. There's a nice terrace that gets boiling hot. Would easily do for longer.
The lady who runs them was a lovely wee woman.
Not much I can say for the town itself. The people are quite into grabbing up all the income they can get from tourists, and quite rightly so. But it’s a pain in the proverbial backside to get hassled non-stop to go into the sea-front restaurants if you’re obviously full and your eyes glazed to bits with retsina. There’s also an awful lot of tat to be had in the souvenir shops. Not the real Greece many people seek.
Would recommend a walk round to the marina and further on to the large hotel (though the main road is a bit busy).
Would stay here again, but next time I’d prefer to pay the owner direct rather than through a booking website.
