Great little studios situated right on the beach.
Great little studios situated right on the beach, less than a minute from room to sun lounger.
Although in a quiet area there is a restaurant, shop and laundry onsite and a beach made for lying on all day.
Short stroll along to Myrties for additional restaurants and shops, and a harbour to allow a day trip across to Telendos, which only takes about 10 mins.

Stunning location, comfy bed and apartment
Small traditional Greek apartments( only 6 in total) all with fabulous sea views.
Perfect for us situated right on a quiet beach with just a dozen sunbeds.
Comfortable with a great fan in the bedroom, we were in room 1 which in late September was shaded all day but that was a relief given the 30c heat that dropped little at night.
Well equipped kitchen with kettle and filter coffee machine. Free air con.
Lovely family run place.
Taverna downstairs offered lovely home made food and reasonably priced.

Perfect location
This delightful family run property is ideally situated right by the beach.
It was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The views from the balconies are a delight.
The owners were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
The taverna below was very convenient and the food was delicious.
Look forward to staying again.

Fantastic friendly studio
Basic, clean studios, great value for money, set on a small quiet beach. In easy reach to restaurants.
We enjoyed the walk into the main area but if you have mobility issues this place is not for you (unless you have a car or scooter).
Would highly recommend the boat across to Telendos.

Can't believe it's not dearer.
Ferreting about on google maps, spotted Melitsahas beach, a little to the west of Myrties, and decided that was the place for us.
Unbelievably, Anna’s is literally right on this beach, the only accommodation so placed, and we booked it for 9 nights at a bargain price, so not expecting much apart from location.
We’d had a lovely studio in Astypalaia before arriving here, so I was worried Mrs C might be a bit underwhelmed, but our studio, no.2 (I think it is very slightly bigger than the others?) was a joy. Modern, good little kitchenette, great bed, small yet perfect bathroom (always hot water!), a fan, mozzie screen and good quiet aircon … and that view! The beach below and looking across to Telendhos, the sun setting behind it at about 8.30pm…€ ‘000’s wouldn’t get you better. The other great thing is the northeast orientation of the balconies meant they were usable until around 1.30pm before the sun hit them. Too many south facing balconies we’ve had have been almost unusable in Greek summers, unless you’re on them at 6am
Melitsahas is a sort of locals secret, several Kalymniots told us, in a hushed, hand to the side way, about this and were delighted we’d already found it and were staying there! Pretty quiet most of the day, around 5 until 7.30pm, locals come down, and the kids burnt some energy in the sand & small shingle, with a fairly fast shelving into the water, 5mtrs out, 1.5mtrs deep. This is the best beach in the area, sandier than Myrties and most of Massouri.
There is a small shop run by the owners for immediate needs, and a basic grill house taverna below (the only place we found that had ‘fouskés’ a Kalymnian speciality shellfish - plenty to be had in Pothia though)
There’s a couple of small hills to overcome between here and the nearest other tavernas, 5mins (another) Anna’s tavern and Fountagio (our favourite, say hi to Giorgos), then you can either go through the harbour and along a scrappy pathway 5mins to Smugglers (meh food, nice people though, good for a drink) and Kouzina (good), or stay on the road and over another small hill to get to the same place. From Smugglers another seaside ‘path’ to the ferry dock for Telendhos, and Stalas taverna.
