Not worth the stay
We hired the appartment Studios Costas in Corfu for 4 days, but left it after two days and booked a new place. There were ants crawling everywhere in the bathroom, kitchen and we also found some in our bed. It is said you can't leave food scraps in the room and not in trash but even looking into that it's not normal you can't live in a 'normal' way trash in an appartment. Where should it be put else?
There is also moisture in the walls with paint coming of the wall and giving a bad smell. Electric wires come only secured with tape out of the wall and pieces of the wall are broken.
The bathroom is not clean, especially around the toilet. The pictures that can be found online are very much romanticized, these are the real ones.
On top, as guest you always seem to be 'the problem' but some problems are already know a while (e.g. there is no curtain at the front windows so you wake up at the first light. This will be solved only after this season (hopefully).
Other Corfiuns warned us (later) of the bad reputation of the neighborhood. Please als remark the owner has a second room probably as bad next door.
