Super accommodation for 30. Birthday with a barbecue event
The reserved grill area was excellently prepared, the ingredients were of high quality, and especially the amount of meat clearly exceeded our expectations. The sanitary facilities were exceptionally clean and comfortable for a mountain lodge. The entire organization proceeded smoothly and without complications.
The location is also very beautiful: The Almdorado is easily accessible, and one can quickly reach a great swimming spot by the river on foot. The staff was also super friendly, helpful, and always approachable. As a result, the entire celebration went really relaxed and smoothly. Overall, it was the perfect location for my birthday, and we would come back anytime.

1: We had a standard cabin, with room for four people, apart from the fact that the cabin did not look like in the photographs at all, the so-called beds were a dirty mattress with indefinable stains that exudes a somewhat strange smell that fortunately settled over the week. In addition, the huts were completely dirty (I won't go into the types) so I wanted to clean them on the first day with a lent vacuum cleaner (the hostel), which proved impossible, however, as the filter was apparently broken, which means that the dirt was only spread further, so I wiped the ENTIRE hut with all the surfaces, which apparently hadn't happened for many years. In addition, it was not possible to use the fridge, because there are ants having fun, who had also eaten various sweets of the previous owners during the week, which lay in the several cracks of the hut.
2: The huts themselves were also problematic, as e.g. the measly electric heating heated the basement and converted it into a sauna, but the upper floor which could only be reached by a ladder which could be reached through an opening about 50cmx50cm remained equally cold (actually it got colder, as there were gaps in the walls everywhere which apparently served for ventilation). But what was most problematic was that the cabin was divided by a thin wooden wall, which meant that the people living in the 2. Half of the cottage "lived" to have heard everything and turned around.
3: In terms of security there was also a defect and that was that you could lock the cabin from the outside with a small padlock but inside there was no piece of wood that you could fold down, so the RIGEL (which you would rather suspect in a stable) was blocked. But also means that you could simply push it up through the gap needed to operate the bar from the outside (pressing it up is too much, rather pushing it up) this made it easier to open and penetrate doors closed from the inside immensely.
4: The "terrace" of the hut, which is not really to be described as such, was also a kind of death trap when it was wet you fell directly on the face with the slightest wrong movement, which of course happened, so that a classmate was in pain for the rest of the school trip and far beyond.
5: The sanitary facilities consisted of containers with showers and toilets, which had no storage facilities, so that all garments had to be hung on the single hook in a garbage bag. The toilets were also no better, I do not go into the dirt.
6: The food also took some getting used to, the breakfast was fine (hotel breakfast) but the dinner was an imposition, meat alternating hard and soft, side dishes e.g.
Rice more like silicone. Two out of four days there was no dinner, so we ordered pizza and made pasta.
7: The terrain is beautiful except in rain. In rain you should wear rubber boots, otherwise your clothes will be completely messed up, paths deficient.
8: Positive was that next to the property meadow there are some bushes and a pile of wood chips, so you can play well hidden.
Conclusion: I will not visit this hostel again and would advise against booking the standard cabins as they are deficient.
