A really friendly family run hotel

We had a lovely stay here in October 2011. Melanie and her staff were so friendly and helpful, they all made us feel very welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. They all speak very good English which was helpful. The rooms were very clean and had everything you would need. The rooms are quiet and beds were comfortable. The hotel is located on the edge of Ketwick's old town and is very close to everything, the river is a 5 min walk away and the train station is also very close. Breakfast was really excellent - fresh, plentiful and a nice variety. We went to Ketwick for a family event not expecting much but loved the town and loved Hotel Diening. It was a highlight of our trip.

Da Piangere

Arrivo in hotel ore 18,00 con prenotazione e pagamento anticipato tutto chiuso , un cartello sulla porta indica orari di apertura dalle 0700 alle 1100 . Se arrivi poi devi telefonare a un numero e se rispondono devi sapere il Tedesco se sei fortunato trovi una delle proprietarie che parla Inglese . La stanza poco illuminata e priva di luci Vetusta con letti anteguerra che dopo una notte hai necessità di un fisioterapista in gamba , il bagno Vecchio e con muffe sulle piastrelle , la colazione povera o scarsa , il prezzo caro tanto caro , purtroppo la colpa e delle associazioni di commercio dovrebbero controllare meglio prima di dare stelle a caso . Simpatiche le proprietarie ma non basta .

Gutbürgerlich, Freundlicher Service

Das garni Hotel liegt nahe der "Altstadt" von Essen-Kettwig und ist gut mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr erreichbar. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war geräumig, das Bad allerdings sehr klein, die Einrichtung aus den 80er/90er Jahren. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend vielfältig und wird in einem ansprechenden Raum bereit gestellt. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft zu einem guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Отель находится в хорошем тихом месте, в пригороде Эссена. До Дюссельдорфа-примерно 30 мин, до Эссена-примерно 20 мин. Если нет другой альтернативы и вы во время выставки в этом регионе, то переночевать можно. Завтрак-за отдельную плату. Ремонт-очень старенький. Если батареи включаешь на макстмум, то шумят сильно. Если на минимум, то холодно очень. Еще постоянно приходится с собой тяжелый ключ с деревянным бочонком носить, т.к.на ресепшне часто никого нет. Минутах в 10 ходьбы супермаркет и парочка кафешек с китайской кухней или кебабом.

Ein sehr freundlich geführtes Hotel

Da ich nur 1 Übernachtung hatte,kann ich nicht soviel sagen.Nur eins,das Zimmer war sauber und der Empfang war sehr freundlich.Es liegt etwas abseits ,aber im Altstadtkern.Von hier ist es auch nicht weit bis zur Ruhr,wo man herrlich wandern kann.
