Excellent pension

Excellent value for money and very original rooms. I will return there with pleasure. Very pleasant staff and owner.
Very well located in a place that is both touristy and very quiet. Cleanliness as expected. I recommend.

Terrible accomodations

The room was filthy and had an awful smell. There were children screaming and playing loudly in the court yard early in the morning and late at night. One of them even came right into our apartment when we were coming in and we almost had to throw him out. Micheal is very hard to deal with and is very rude. All in all a terrible experience.

Comfortable and well located

The pension is conveniently located and is well priced. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. The internet did not always work (too many devices connected for the router). I would recommend as basic accommodation, no thrills, but I sought none, so I was quite pleased with the place.

Good standard of budget accommodation

We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2015. It had been booked by our friends who came with us, on recommendation. When I read the reviews, my heart sank but I was worrying unnecessarily.
The room was comfortable and clean and included a small kitchen. I slept well every night which is unusual. It was in a very quiet residential area, very close to the Mauer Park on the site of the Wall. This was a vibrant lively place on Sunday when we arrived.
About 400m from the nearest U Bahn, very easy links to Tegel Airport.
Only downside was not being able to leave luggage on the last day as the owners were not on site.

Not helpful at all

The bedroom was ok, but if you are staying for several days,- we stayed one week- the place becomes stifling. There is no wifi, and no reception. The shutters didn't work properly, the owner said he would come next day to fix it but he didn't. He didn't even reply to our messages: The last day we asked him if we could leave our luggage somewhere in the pension, since our flight was late in the evening and he refused. Finally, they didn't clean the room until the 6th day, and because I requested to the cleaning lady.
I wouldn't go for this place if you want something else that just a place to sleep.
