A magical setting in the middle of nowhere.

Exotic, rejuvenating, to be redone but for a minimum of 2 nights to fully enjoy this enchanting setting.

Stroll in the Basque Country

Lunch with the non-gastronomic menu.
It's a shame that the pâté en croûte had just come out of the fridge with very uneven portions, an unpleasant appearance for some guests.
Was the chef in charge that lunchtime?
Moreover, the lunch was acceptable, but I prefer the starred gastronomic menu.
Good service.
Think about how to keep the flies away!!!

A breathtaking view and an even more refined cuisine.

Difficult to access, but a grand landscape for dining on the terrace. Excellent cuisine and commendable service. The only drawbacks for which I cannot give a "5" are the amount of cheese for a not-free dish and the lack of documentation to inform that wine is available by the glass and its prices...

It was a wonderful pleasure to stay at Auberge Ostape. Our only regret is that we only stayed two nights. It is hard to get to and incredibly worthwhile once you get there.
The staff is most gracious and the restaurant is extraordinary. We hope to return.
