We stayed at the Excelsior Spa Hotel from October 10–12 in Romantic Room 309, and it was even nicer than we expected! The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi. The outdoor amenities were also a nice touch and made our stay even more relaxing.
We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, which was okay, but nothing particularly special.
Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing getaway and really enjoyed our stay!

I made my reservation back in July for my family and me. A friend who was staying with us also booked her room in July. She ended up with an extremely basic, tiny room with a mattress that was sunken in and very uncomfortable. Even though the hotel says that smoking is prohibited, the hallway outside her room smelled strongly of cigarettes.
We couldn’t understand why she was given such a poor room when she had booked two months in advance, while some guests may have booked at the last minute and received much better rooms. Of course, she asked to change rooms, but apparently the hotel was fully booked.
My room was okay, but nothing more. There was mold in one corner of the bathtub. The shower sprayed water everywhere like a broken fountain. There was also a constant mechanical noise coming from the small refrigerator, almost like a squeaking or grinding sound. It was clearly an old refrigerator.
The room was also very poorly soundproofed. We could clearly hear the guests above us walking around and using their whirlpool tub at 10 p.m. The noise was so loud that it honestly sounded like they were taking their bath in our room.
We also used the pool. It wasn’t the cleanest pool I’ve ever seen, but it was okay.
Finally, we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant before leaving. The food was good, and I absolutely loved our waitress! She was wonderful.
Overall, this hotel really needs some love and updating. It was absolutely not worth what I paid for a two-night stay.

Exceeded expectations. The pool and hot tubs were great. The dining room food and service were excellent. Sylvie at the front desk bears special commendation for her helpfulness.

It was clean and we loved the pools and the hot tubs but some equipment needs repair and or changeing. But for the price it was very nice. The food at the restaurant is really good. The bes is comfortable. The air conditioning was making a strange noise but it was working. Parking is free and there is also some games you can borrow to play in your room.
