Happy birthday meeting

A nice hotel in a huge park, nature as far as the eye can see, the owner is very attentive to the guests, the staff spoiled us, the rooms are not modern but very clean, well-kept and charming. The breakfast was varied, for me there was a yeast coffee and a special saying for the day.

Perfect Pension

Staff are wonderful, hotel itself is picturesque. Interior is high quality European workmanship. Location is quiet, close to sea. Breakfast very good, coffee and beer as well. Rooms are on the large side, bathroom is full sized, over sized closets. Rooms have balconies with large sliding door, Easy to recommend.

Great town and hotel

We obtained hotel information from the very pleasant and informative man at the tourist information center in Illmitz. Our first stop upon arriving in Rust was the Hotel Sifkovits. Our first impression of the hotel and management was very positive. We had a delightful conversation with the manager over wine and followed his recommendation for dining that evening. Our room was pleasant, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful. The hotel is within a very easy walk to the old city center of Rust and the lake. We wish we had more time to spend in Rust and the surrounding area but we needed to move on. We stayed at Hotel Sifkovits in late September a truly wonderful time of the year to visit.

Nie wieder!!!

Tja wo soll ich anfangen...
Die Bilder entsprechen nicht ganz den Tatsachen.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Zugang zum "Garten". Dieser ist eher braun wie grün und sehr ungepflegt bei unserer Ankunft. Es wurde dann einmal gemäht. Der Garten selber ist nicht von den anderen abgegrenzt also uneingeschränkt zugänglich. Jeden (!) Abend lief ein Hund durch der sich mit dem Nachbarhund ein Bellduell lieferte. Daa Zimmer war sehr sauber, das war aber auch schon das einzig positive an unserem Aufenthalt. Im Zimmer gibt es bis auf die Nachttischlampen kein weiteres Licht. Am Flur vor den Gartenzimmern stinkt es nach geschmolzenem Plastik - also schnell durchgehen!
Der so toll angepriesene Aurenthaltsraum - Napoleonzimmer - geschichtlich sicher ein Hochgenuss... wäre da nicht die tagtägliche Berieselung von Wagner!!!! Den ganzen Tag läuft klassische Musik... ansich schön und gut... aber schon beim Frühstück Wagner?!?!! Auf meine Frage (bei der Frühstücksjellnerin) hin ob sich noch nie jemand über die Musik beschwert hat war ich beim Chef "unten durch". Die Musik wurde abgestellt und ich bekam eine sehr resche unhöfliche Zurechtweisung vom Chef "dass sei Wagner!" Er wäre Musikprofessor gewesen... und ICH SOLLE ÜBER MEIN LEBEN NACHDENKEN. Auch mein Einwand, dass ich nichts gegen Wagner hätte, aber alles zu seiner Zeit und eben nicht den ganzen Tag, half nichts. FAZIT -> Chef sehr nett solange man die gleiche Meinung wie er hat. Noch zu den Besitzern... beide laufen ziemlich schmuddelig herum. 4 Tage gleiche Jeans und Leggin. Das spiegelt sich auch im Hotel wieder. Im Eingangsbereich vor dem Hotel ein alter Ledersessel auf Steinen plaziert...Schirm darüber wie kurz vor der Sperrmüllabholung.
Frühstück...ok... aber das Buffet sehr überschaubar. Gebäck (Resch umd Frisch) wird immer im kleinen Mengen aufgebacken. Kuchen gabs auch, wenn man schnell war. Rührei im Warmhaltebuffet war immer sehr wässrig... event. aus der Packung? Kaffee ist wirklich gut und immer frisch von der Maschine - kein Filterkaffee! Orangensaft reichlich.
EBikes- tolle Räder -allerdings bei der Übergabe schon sehr schmutzig, wurden auch nicht täglich aufgeladen -lag im Ermessen des Chefs. Für die Fahrräder MUSSTE bar bezahlt werden! Es gab dafür auch keine Rechnung!
Für mich ein klares NIE WIEDER!

Sehr gemütlicher Aufenthalt

Wir waren 5 Tage Gast im Hotel Sifkovits. Es handelt sich um ein gemütliches Familienhotel. Die Wirtsleute sind sehr nett und um ihre Gäste bemüht. Das Hotel liegt am Neusiedlersee Radweg und ganz nah bei der Altstadt.
