Stunning hotel located in the most fairytale like beautiful mountains. The price was double of what we payed to sleep in Höchst the day after, but it was well worth it.

we booked luxury rooms and were not the first time .But after years not much has changed for the better. The mattresses are very sagged ,very soft and the cleanliness not first class ,foreign hair in bed and the floor is not mopped ,the room service consists of towels change and that's it. Lots of dust in the room and cold(in December),heating is too weak. If down in the kitchen is cooking ,then the whole house smells of food and it is not always delicious. But the smell gets into the room and stinks of it for a long time. No ventilation.

Very tasty organic and vegan food!

After our hike yesterday we stopped here and were very impressed with our two main courses as well as the ice cream and the delicious raspberry cashew cake. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was beautiful. A culinary delight for all vegan and non-vegan gourmets. Be sure to come and try it yourself.

Awesome location, ok hotel

Location is very nice with picturesque views across the valley and walking trails nearby.
Hotel itself is worthwhile staying in summer (expect its much better in winter though), even though its right next to the road. There were very few people when we stayed.
Rooms are ok. Well decorated and cozy although layout on the top floor is not the best. Bathroom rather small and 1/2 was under eaves which made using shower a bit awkward.
Common areas, restaurant and seating outside rather nice, plus they had table tennis and kids bikes.
Restaurant was closed in the evening, morning bfast was sub par even for a vegetarian place.
Overall not bad. Nearly 4*, but we stayed in many better similar places in Austria and South Germany so had to give it 3* this time.
