Very cool fit out

The pods fit out is very cool with some great detailing & quality.
The eco side has been very well thought through, albeit the use of the A/C and battery management does take a bit of getting used to.
We stayed for three nights and whilst set in a vineyard we did find the noise from the adjacent roads a little invasive.
Only other minor point is that there are only two of everything, plates , mugs knives/forks, etc, so if you use the bar-b-q and do a couple of courses you end up washing up in between!
The Barn hives are very well located for visiting vineyards in the area as well as the coast.

Fantastic

Beautiful setting against the vineyard. Very nice and quiet while we were here, didn’t hear the other guests. The way the hives are set up makes them feel very private which we loved. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck area, looking out to the vineyard and having a coffee or glass of wine. Built in audio system was a great plus and added to the atmosphere. We had one small issue one night and the owners were very responsive and resolved the issue within 5 minutes of us notifying them. Also appreciated the complementary wine!

Very dissapointed

Location was great, facilities good, view very peaceful.
However all this was spoilt by on two of the hottest nights possible the battery ran out and we had no power. Very dangerous as was pitch black and to get down the staircase was awful.
Got a text message in the morning apologising saying they need to add more equipment to run it smoothly. At over $350 per night this is not acceptable. Only offer of any compensation was a late check out. Never even responded to my messages.
I understand that things don't always go according to plan, but to be totally ignored is not customer service.

Beautiful place!

Absolutely loved this place. It is beautifully designed. Everything has been thought of, from the kitchen and bathroom design, the veranda when you can sit and look at the vineyard and all the birds, the comfortable bedroom with big picture window. And it’s all been designed to be ecologically aware. It is super clean too! We didn’t eat in the on-site restaurant but it looked fantastic. We did sample the wine which was delicious. The whole area of Yallingup is stunning, the beaches are to die for , highly recommend.

Stay here. You won't be disappointed

These hives are seriously amazing. Having driven past many times we thought it time to sleep in one. We just spent a fabulous 3 nights in Hive 1 and can't recommend it enough.
A perfect place to come back and relax in after a busy day amongst the vines.
Highly recommended.
