Located on the western coast of the country, Mumbai is home to more than 18 million people and is the most populated city of India (as well as the richest). It is therefore unsurprising that the city’s air facility, Chhatrapati Shivaji International, is also one of the busiest of the country, handling over 40 million air travellers annually.
Consistently considered one of India’s best airports, Chhatrapati Shivaji International is a hub base for the country’s flag carrier Air India and is also served by dozens of international airlines, most of which serve Singapore to Mumbai flights such as Air France, Air China, Bangkok Airways, Etihad, and KLM. Popular destination from Chhatrapati Shivaji International include Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Abu Dhabi.
The airport consists of 2 terminals for scheduled passenger flights - Terminal 1 is reserved for domestic connections, whilst Terminal 2 handles international ones.

What to see and do in Mumbai
The backdrop of Hollywood’s award-winning film Slumdog Millionaire, Mumbai is a bustling metropolis bursting at the seams with colour and life. Though it sometimes gets a bad reputation for the continued presence of slums and widespread poverty, Mumbai has much to offer to the discerning traveller. Be sure to pay a visit to the world-famous Taj Mahal, a gleaming masterpiece of white marble.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the majestic Taj was erected more than 400 years ago to serve as the final resting place for the then-Emperor Shah Jahan’s wife. Today it is one of India’s most popular attractions, drawing in millions of tourists yearly.
Next must-see in Mumbai - the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Market (or Crawford Market). One of the oldest markets in the city, the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule is a central gathering place for locals and foreigners alike. Mingle with shoppers and merchants while browsing through the market’s di-verse offerings, which range from fruit and produce to pets, cosmetics, clothing, and more.
