Located less than 20 kilometres from the heart of Singapore, getting to and from Changi Airport is pretty easy. Travellers can hop on the subway (MRT) from any station in the downtown region (e.g. City Hall) and ride eastwards to Tanah Merah Station, where they can then transit to another train heading for Changi Airport Station. An MRT ride from the city to the airport should take only about 40 minutes, at a fare of around SGD 2.50 (USD 1.86).

Travellers are advised to check in at Changi Airport 2 hours before the scheduled departure time of their flight.
