Terminal Information
Travellers flying to Jakarta through Bantam City will be welcomed to the Hang Nadim Airport's domestic terminal. The domestic terminal handles all local flights within Indonesia, particularly to Jakarta, the capital of the country. The domestic terminal is complete with services and facilities, including waiting areas, boarding bridges, one runway, and an apron. Upon arrival to Jakarta, travellers will either be served through Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 of the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Citilink, Interlink Airlines, Lion Air, and Sriwijaya Air passengers will be using Terminal 1, while the Garuda Indonesia passengers will be served through Terminal 2. Both terminals have complete ground transport facilities, and is connected through central Jakarta by these. Main modes of transport include buses, shuttles, taxis, and cars, along with the more popular ojeks and others. A railway system is due on 2016. Furthermore, inter-terminal shuttle or rail services are free, connecting all terminals of the airport to each other for faster transfers.

Because of the country's layout as an archipelago and its thrust to stop illegal activities from happening in the country, port authorities in Indonesia strictly impose its rules and regulations to all passengers, including regular ones, VIPs, and even foreign dignitaries. All immigrants are advised to always check their belongings, and are advised against interacting with strangers so as to avoid unnecessary issues. They are also advised to bring complete travel documents, including passports issued from their country of origin, valid identification cards or documents, flight itineraries and booking confirmation details, and other travel documents that are deemed important. The weather is relatively the same too throughout the year, running through two seasons – dry and wet.
