If you are not traveling with bulky luggage or you simply wish to save a little on transportation, the MRT is a great way to get to the airport - the ride from a city location should take approximately 45 minutes and it should cost you SGD 2 (USD 1.40).

Travellers are generally advised to arrive at the Singapore Changi Airport at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled time of flight departure. You may purchase the tickets from the driver or online for approximately SGD 10 (USD 7) one way. If you prefer to travel in a private limousine, you may pre-purchase a flat rate taxi which will take you into the city from SGD 105 (USD 75). Travellers may also choose to rent a vehicle from the airport as many large international car rental brands can be found here at the Helsinki Airport.
