Boasting a fitness centre, a restaurant as well as a bar, Hilton Cologne is situated in the centre of Cologne, 300 metres from Cologne Central Station.

Top location right at the main train station with a very good breakfast
Two nights on business at the Hilton Cologne. The location is a clear plus point: central, right at the main train station, extremely uncomplicated when arriving by train. The room was stylishly furnished, with a very comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower.
The staff was consistently very friendly and accommodating. As a Hilton Honors member, I had free Wi-Fi – anyone who is not yet registered should do so before arrival to save the fee.
The breakfast was extremely delicious with an above-average selection – a clear recommendation. I did not use the fitness area this time.
In terms of price, the hotel is in the upscale segment, which is understandable given the location and quality. Overall, a very good hotel for business travelers arriving by train.

Staff were friendly, breakfast had a good variety. Pity they were short staffed in the kitchen to have a egg/omelette station. Otherwise it was a enjoyable stay

Good hotel, clear recommendation
After a gap of about ten years, a project is now bringing me back to the region
The good experiences of the past and, not least, my status with the Hilton group led me to book the hotel
The location in the immediate vicinity of the main train station is convenient. Nevertheless, the hotel is also easy to reach by car.
Check-in, as is actually always the case with the group, was fast and professional. That is how one wishes it to be
The rooms are not top modern, but they are in decent condition
The sleeping comfort is excellent
And the bathrooms are good too
The breakfast is impressive

The room was perfect, and the staff were incredibly kind. The location was exactly where you’d want to be for a short trip or a long one. Overall, a wonderful experience.

The hotel was overall good, however at this price range some basics were clearly missing. First no free water in the room, 4€ for a bottle of water that's clearly a joke. Second no information in the room on what to do in the hotel, room service or other. We took this hotel mainly for the spa, which we had to look for ourself as really badly indicated. While the spa was very nice we didn't even have a bathrobe for it in the room.
To conclude you pay for the good location but the room was very basic and the service not at the level of the price.
