Flights to Frankfurt, Germany
The city of Frankfurt is technically served by 2 international airports - Flughafen Frankfurt am Main (also known as Frankfurt Airport) and Flughafen Frankfurt-Hahn. However, the smaller Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is located a good 120 kilometres from the city centre of Frankfurt (which is, in fact, the same distance between the airport and Luxembourg) and only handles short-haul regional flights. As such, most travellers will arrive at Frankfurt am Main Airport, the main international gateway into the city and also the busiest airport in Germany (as of December 2016).
- Frankfurt am Main Airport is located about 12-15 kilometres from the city centre. A taxi ride to the city would cost about €30 (SGD 45.88) and take 20-30 minutes.

In this joyous time of beer-drinking, bratwurst-eating and general merrymaking, Frankfurt becomes alive with music and good cheer as outdoor events are widespread throughout the city.
