Weather in Chicago
March – May: The season welcomes the return of sunshine and spring flowers in city parks and along Lake Michigan. But the weather can change quickly, so don’t forget an umbrella.

September – November: Autumn is cool and dry. The city experiences its first frosts around October and snowfall in November.
December – February: Cold and cloudy, Chicago usually sees around 94 centimetres of snow each winter. Heavy storms can make for slow going around the city.
