This church dominates the square of Trg Petra Zoranica, which is also where you'll find the Captains Tower and entrance to the main city park. The church was completely rebuilt in the 17th century, which meant it lost a lot of the Roman style architecture it once showcased. Within the church you'll find a silver reliquary that holds the remains of Saint Simeon.

St. Simeon's is a beautiful church, and home to St. Simeon's sarcophagus, an artistic masterpiece swaddled in gold and silver.

Nice church in one of the ends of the old town of Zadar, from the 17th century, in which it is worth the visit just for its exquisite sarcophagus with the intact remains of San Simón. While the sarcophagus can always be seen, the remains only on the 8th of each month.

It has a strict rule of etiquette in terms of dress, so watch out for miniskirts and shorts (both men and women and children!)

This church has mutated from a Gothic construction in its beginnings to a baroque style today. It is a very colorful church, of an intense ocher color, although it is true that its facade does not have large ornaments, except for the three entrance arches. Inside it highlights the silver chest of San Simeon from 1830 and its large glass lamp in the center.
