Mekong Delta, immerse themselves in the sophisticated excitement of Hanoi, or kick back on the beautiful white sand beaches of Nha Trang. Of special note is the enthralling Halong Bay, where 'the dragon descends into the sea,' according to Vietnamese mythology. Within the bay nearly 3,000 majestic island sculptures jut out of the water, almost as if nature itself decided to create its own masterpiece. A stop at the city of Hué is a must in order to gaze upon the Imperial Palace and royal tombs. Feel like learning a new skill? if you plan to go to Vietnam. Go during June and take a tour for one week. Getting there is exspensive but it is worth it. The tour was $150 each person all inclusive for a week. I went to nha trang which has a beautiful clear blue beach and dai lax which is up in the mountain and cold. During the same week. Food was great everyday.

Hanoi is an elegant capital, between tradition and modernity. This city is probably the most charming city in the country. A Vietnam tour with 2 or 3 days in Hanoi to discover its history, its culture and taste its cuisine will promise you the experience that you don't have before.

2. Halong Bay

More than 2000 small islands and islets emerging on the emerald water create the fascinating beauty of Halong Bay. A cruise on a charming, traditional junk promise you a relaxing moment in spectacular ocean view, especially the time of sunrise or sunset, when the light of the sun reflecting the blue water at bay creates a color yellow-red that makes the most mystical bay and gives you an unforgettable experience on your Vietnam tour.

3. Sapa

Sapa is one of the most famous destinations in the country and you should not miss on your trip in Vietnam. 4. Hoi An

Dated on 16th century, Hoi An was a busy trading port. Times flies, but it still preserves historical monuments, enchanting streets with many traditional galleries and shops. In particular, at night, the city is amazing with the light of thousand lanterns. Strolling around the city or take a rowing boat on the Hoai River, you would be lost in a magical landscape. New York City

Street life is colorful and safe in Vietnam’s largest cities, whether you’re exploring Ben Thanh market in Ho Chi Minh City or heading for Hanoi’s massive Dong Xuan Market. Do tai chi with hundreds of others by Hoan Kiem lake before heading into the mountains of the Central Highlands, preferably on a trek with a local outfitter. Wind up with a stay on Phu Quoc Island for a taste of the classic Southeast Asian beach-bum lifestyle.

The Best Things to Do In Vietnam

#6 -- Access ethic tribal minorities at villages nestled in the lush hills near Sapa, and share a cup of tea with locals in their rustic mountain homes.

#5 -- Hanoi city tour to the Old Quarter & enjoy Hanoi street food.

#4 -- Take a private cooking class with a gourmet chef to learn about Vietnamese cuisine.

#3 -- Navigate the alleyways of the ancient port town of Hoi An by bicycle, to explore the syncretic cultural influences of Southeast Asia's most important port from the 17th through 19th centuries.

#2 -- Cruise the waterways of the Mekong Delta to glimpse the timeless rural scenes of farmers working the fertile land and fishermen with their nets. Stop in a home to see them making rice paper, one at a time, with a ladle and griddle.
