Miami Beach is a fascinating beach city where Spanish and English waft through the air, the beaches are spectacular and the nightlife unstoppable. Art Deco architecture adds to the glamorous atmosphere of South Beach, as do the many designer shops filled with tanned bodies along Lincoln Road. Art and culture have their place too, with the yearly ... Read more

While battling the crowds is normally something to avoid, this city has a pretty tolerable high season, in part because there are enough hotels to handle the spike, and also because the city is alive and buzzing with exciting activity, including the splashy Art Basel Miami Beach in December, during this time. The alternative would be to come between May and November when the weather is hot, reaching 90F (32C), and hurricanes are ever-looming.

Miami Beach, what can I say. It's got its own vibe. Part beach and part party, it's definitely an interesting experience.

I love Miami Beach! Great beaches, nice restaurant and fun club. Cons: there are no bars on the beach

South Beach is beautiful. The calm waters are warm and inviting. There is a wide beach area maintained and cleaned well. Shopping and restaurants are a short walk away from the beach. Relax and enjoy.

I don't go to the beach often, mainly because the weather in the Bay Area isn't always great for it. Came here 2 days in a row. Nothing like taking in some sun near the water.

The South Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach fairly glitters with nightlife – all day long. It is trendy and quirky and – hey, watch out for that guy on roller skates – and just a fun place to be. Yes, it attracts the rich and famous and youthful, but it now is recognized around the world as worthy of a stay or a visit by everyone. Enjoy the beach or the historic Art Deco architecture or the fine Oceanside dining – or all of it in a single day. And don't miss Haulover Park for fishing, tennis, golf and bicycle rides. Miami Beach's South Beach – you have to experience it for yourself.
