There are stunning walks either side of Mevagissey. The shortest walk is to Pentewan (takes approx. 1 hour). Simply walk up the left hand side of Mevagissey and follow the coastal path. There's a gorgeous pub in Pentewan, called The Ship - lovely lunches too, plus you can go into the Holiday Park to their cafe there. You can also get the bus back to Meva from outside the Holiday Park. Take a photo of the timetable before you go into Pentewan.

If you go to the right hand side of Mevagissey, the lighthouse side, follow the coastal path to Gorran Haven - longer walk (about 1.5-2 hours). There is the Gorran bus, or you could call a cab if you don't want to walk back. There's not a pub in Gorran Haven, but a lovely hotel with a nice bar called The Llawnroc

Get onto the South West Coast path on Gyllnyvase Beach, a 15 minute walk from my cottage. Lush countryside path, bedecked in spring flowers and bees humming, whilst looking out over the beautiful sea. Fantastic views in all directions. Stop at little cafes and pubs en route. Swimming in the bays and beaches as you pass by. A perfect thing to do for all the family.

A beautiful National Trust maintained walk along the Cornish Coast - with some easier sections and some more strenuous!

The Coast Path is only few minutes from the house. You can walk east to Rame head, taking in the village Portwrinkle and the wonderful beach of Whitsand Bay. There are small cafes along the route.
If you walk west you will find your-self in firstly Looe, followed by Talland Bay and then Polperro.

There are some amazing stretches of this most wonderful coastal path - all within a short drive. We have recommended some of our favourite stretches in the cottage information we provide. Really not to be missed!

This is the coastal path that includes the whole of Cornwall. It passes through Fowey only 3 miles from Golant, you can walk to join it on the Saints Way which passes in front of Sky Cottage. A great walk to blow away the cobwebs, you need walking boots.

Covering the entire Cornish coastline and beyond, Newquay is right in the middle of it! 97Pentire has amazing views of the coast for many miles both North and South. Its a great activity for the whole family, walk one way, get a bus or taxi home, exploring hidden coves and fabulous pubs along the way.

Only a short walk south from our farm the South West Coast Path offers some of the most breathtaking walking to be had in the UK. Our section of the path is even more fun with pubs and cafes dotted from Polruan to Polperro to Looe to Millandreath to Seaton to Downderry and beyond

The South West Coast Path may be pinned to the south coast on the map, but it is England's longest waymarked footpath and a National Trail – it stretches all the way around to the coast around West Somerset, overlooking the Bristol Channel and beaches local to Saint Pancras Chapel.
