a gamble. Winter gets cold and snowy, especially in Northern Ohio near Lake Erie, while summers are hot with highs in the 90s (32). Early spring can also be dicey with clouds, chilly weather and rain. However, by fall, you’ll not only experience warm temperatures, but you’ll get to see the state’s foliage change color. Keep in mind that popular wooded areas like the Hocking Hills can fill up with vacationers at this time of the year.

It’s was just OK for me. Born in raised here in Orange County Southern California and it just didn’t do it for me. Very slow. Pretty and green. Lots of abandoned homes (kinda sad) but I got to see my first firefly lol

Local from Dayton

Dayton can be extremely under-rated. Not only is it the Birthplace of Aviation, but it is filled with so much rich history to explore on a budget.

Dayton is one of the coolest cities I've ever been too. I went there for a concert for this indie band from Cleveland that frequents small venues, but got the chance to explore the area a little bit before the show. The real gem here is the Oregon District, which is Dayton's little slice of bohemia. Brick paved streets, old buildings, and full of a young and artsy types. The best part is, there is absolutely no pretension here. Whether you're a local or a newcomer, everyone is super laid back and wonderful.

Stopped in Dayton as part of our tour of the major cities in Ohio (why? because we like cities). We did not get to see everything and plan on a return trip to see more of the aviation sites.

San Luis Obispo

The only reason I've come to visit this place 3 times is because I have family here. Otherwise, this is not a top tourist spot at all. One great memory that I had here though was watching the my first snow fall. I've never seen snow fall, living in San Diego. The house market pretty much crashed here and a lot of people are moving out of the city.

Honestly, I liked the city. The food here was good. The people were mostly friendly. The traffic was nonexistent. I really wasn't expecting much, but Dayton surprised me.

If your into Aviation History then this city to visit and a must stop for everyone. you will need atleast three days to get a good understanding of the area.
