Peace of mind overcomes you as you enter this worry free luxury hotel overlooking the bustling river with all the excitement of being on the water. The spa is the best in the world and the view from the quiet room in the spa should not be missed. This by far is one of the most luxurious hotels in the world. Perfect for a special occasion.
The Peninsula is gorgeous and the riverside location makes for easy access to many of the major sights. That said, this Peninsula is even more cookie cutter than most so hard to feel you are really having a Thai experience unless you've never gone to Thailand or stayed at a Peninsula.
Beautiful hotel and lovely pool. Service exquisite. Breakfast menu extensive and cannot be beaten. The rooms were fully worth there 5 star rating.
Great view from the hotel! You'll see a lot of commerce and activities on Chao Phraya river!
I really like the rooms and service. The Spa is nice too, but i really like Mandarin Orientals. I would like the hotel a lot if it were on the other side of the river. Crossing is kind of a hassle.
19/20; Rooms 9/10, Facilities+Dining 5/5, Service 5/5. Often lauded as one of the best urban hotels in the world, in particular for service. It is certainly the best city hotel I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. From the smooth as silk airport limo transfer, to the personal hotel manager greeting at the front door, to the in-room check-in, etc, etc...it starts beyond perfect and keeps going until the moment you leave...in my experience anyway! The setting on the river is A1, with practical and fun connections to the other riverbank by boat and many good restaurants and bars nearby. Very clever architecture means every room has a river view, which is stunning from the higher floors. The rooms are ultra-plush and very very well thought-out (take for example the soundproofed newspaper delivery box - why can't every hotel adopt this?!?). The only reason I've hesitated scoring the rooms a full 10/10 is that they are the ones sampled are just a little on the small side compared to alternatives in the same price category, and the in-room gadgetery could use updating into the current century. I could write paragraphs about the spa and the breakfast buffet...both are amongst the very best of their kind I have enjoyed anywhere in the world. Service is also the very best of the already gracious Thai hospitality. Truly sensational. Hugely recommend!
Simply luxurious....
I hope this building never sinks. Speaking of sinks, I have become very spoiled with two sinks at home and took no exception here. Two sinks are so very useful. So is a separate shower and bath. I love to bathe. It's almost like a small pool but with hot water for just me. Surprisingly enough theres a fleet of hotel boats which take you to the sky train. This is a great service. You dont know traffic till you have been down this way. Imagine your worst traffic and then multiply that by 100. See what I mean? Anything to get around this town easier is worth its weight in gold.
;D
Bello ,con atmosfera vecchia Inghilterra.
Molto belli gli interni , i giardini con la piscina e i servizi per gli ospiti.
Suggestiva la terrazza sul fiume con un ottimo ristorante a buffet.
