All Nippon Airways (ANA) is Japan’s largest full-service airline, and is based at both Narita and Haneda Airports. All Economy class passengers are given a complimentary hand baggage allowance of 10kg, as well as 23kg for check-in baggage. Luggage that exceeds the weight limit will be subject to excess-baggage charges, which range from JPY 1,000-20,000 depending on the flight duration. Passengers departing from Haneda Airport should check-in at Terminal 2 if their connection is a domestic one, and at the New International Terminal otherwise. ANA Check In

Online check-in is available for certain ANA flights, and are open for use 24 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight. After going through the online check-in process, passengers will be able to either self-print or download their boarding passes to their mobile so they need only drop their baggage off upon arrival at the airport.

For those opting to check in the conventional way, ANA recommends arriving at the airport 2.5 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight.
