Travelling to and from Indira Gandhi International Airport to Delhi’s city centre
One of the easiest ways to get from the Indira Gandhi International Airport to the city center is via the use of the Delhi Airport Metro Express which operates between the New Delhi Metro Station and Terminal 3 - the ride should take only 20 minutes (perfect for beating the traffic) and will cost approximately SGD 1.50 (INR 60). There is also a bus service which operates between the airport and various hotels in the city centre - this is great for travellers who wish to be dropped off directly in front of their hotels and it will take up to 60 minutes and will cost approximately SGD 1 (INR 50). Taxis are also available from the airport and travellers are advised to opt for a prepaid taxi instead to avoid any potential scams and haggling - these rides may take up to 40 minutes depending on traffic and they generally cost around SGD 11 (500 INR).
