What is Skyscanner?
Skyscanner is a travel search engine. In a single click, Skyscanner will search, find and present to you the best flight deals in the market.
Is Skyscanner free?
Skyscanner is absolutely free! We search through hundreds of airlines and online travel agents to help you find the best travel deals. Select the deal you want, and we will direct you to the airline or travel agent to make a direct booking with them. Skyscanner does not charge you for our search services.
What does Skyscanner do?
Searches results in under 30 seconds
When you type in your flight preferences, especially your departure and arrival airports, our crawlers will check the best flight prices from airlines and online travel agents (OTAs). The prices are sieved out and presented to you – all under 30 seconds.
Sorts results by their final price
To ensure you get the cheapest prices for your travel, Skyscanner lists results from the lowest to highest price, inclusive of all extra charges. The price you see is usually the final price on the OTA’s final booking page as well.
Presents more options for results at the same price
If airlines and travel agents happen to have identical prices for the same flight route, we list them down for you- right next to the price. We want to help you make informed travel booking decisions, by providing you with all the information.
