Regardless of terminals, Arrivals are all located on level one.
Depending on which flight you are travelling on into Singapore, you may arrive in one of three terminals. Getting through customs normally should not take you more than 15 minutes and baggage claim typically takes approximately 10 minutes. If you are a holder of a passport that participates in the enhanced-Immigration Automated Clearance System (eIACS), you may take an even shorter time to clear customs.
Have a stopover in Changi Airport? The Aerotel Singapore which is located in Terminal 1 offers an affordable and clean room (available for up to 6 hours) to freshen up. For a longer layover, check out the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport which has been voted as the world’s best airport hotel for two consecutive years.
Pick up and drop off at Changi Airport
Regardless of which terminal your flight is departing from, all taxi and private car drop offs are on level two in the respective terminals. If you are arriving by train, you will be directly connected to Terminal 3 of Changi Airport.
Should you need to travel to an alternative terminal, hop on a (complimentary) SkyTrain to get around quickly. Pick ups from Changi Airport are also fairly easy as they are all located on level one of the respective terminals – just make sure to let your driver know which door you are at to facilitate this.
Where can I park at Changi Airport?
While a complimentary 10-minute grace period is given for all pick-ups and drop-offs at the carparks at Changi Airport, full parking charges apply for vehicles and motorcycles that stay beyond this 10-minute grace period.
There are five main areas for parking at the Changi Airport. The new South Car Park which has just opened is the most affordable parking option and it is located just five minutes walk away from Terminal 2 – parking fees of S$0.035 per minute (capped at S$35 per 24 hours) are applicable here.
The four other carparks at Changi Airport are in T1, T2, 3A as well as 3B. These main terminal car parks have slightly higher charges but they do have the same daily cap as the newer South Car Park. Charges start from S$0.04 per minute with a cap at S$35 per 24 hours.
