Excellent place to stay

Everything was immaculate from the reception to the dining room to our room . The room was spacious and modern as was the bathroom with a free standing shower.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were helpful and friendly.
The location was very good and just a few minutes walk to restaurants.
Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious.
I recommend staying here without hesitation. It is easily the best place we've stayed during our fortnight travelling round nc500.

Well recommended, clean, spacious and quiet location.

My wife and I arrived for a two night stay, the room was spacious, clean and modern, can’t fault it. Our plans changed and the proprietor went above and beyond to assist us in obtaining a refund from booking agent. TY

Short Break

Absolutely well worth or two days stay. Grand Rooms very clean though out .
Breakfast first class if not it’s the best we have had in a long time all fresh and no hassle or hanging about everyone friendly and will Definitely be our first choice if in that area again. I promise You will not be disappointed staying there.

WORTH TRYING HERE AGAIN

Warm, clean, spacious, well appointed. Reasonable price. Well worth the room rate. Excellent breakfast and would have liked more. Asked for strong coffee and that's what I got.
However, I need absolute quiet as I am a very light sleeper, easily disturbed. Riverside is in a quiet location so I hoped for a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the floorboards really creak and the people above moved around late at night and early in the morning, ruining my sleep. So sad. I would stay here again but probably request a top floor room.
