Worth only for the tea plantations, but really far from KL, you must be very interested in green tea for having a reason to go there. If you like to trek, my suggestion is to stay a little longer than 1/2 days.
This is the main town for backpackers, and has loads of hotels, guesthouses, restaurants and tour companies within easy walking distance of the centre. There are also many walking trails leading around and out of the town, although they’re not clearly marked so are hard to find – you need to get a route map first. There are some good facilities here but most of the sights are actually closer to Brinchang town.
One of few main villages in Cameron Highlands. As I heard after this one is more relaxing while Brinchang is more buzzing. As you up on mountains get ready for cold and a lot of rain but the nature around is definitelly worth it.
Where we had our banana leaf..;)
