A beautifully maintained bargain
Gerolimenas is a perfect base for an exploration of the lower Deep Mani and Laconian coast. And the Kyrimi Inn is a good choice for a place to stay. As a B&B there are limited amenities, but if you are exploring all day, you don’t need them. The moderate price reflects that. Off-season the greeting was perfunctory and one needs to order breakfast in advance. However, prior communication with the property was exceptional. The room was sparkling clean. Everything was in working order, and the kitchen and utensils looked practically new. The nearby fish restaurants are excellent. But if you want to cook some meals as we did, bring a cooler. The little village convenience store doesn’t really have groceries. We would return. NOTE for booking, this is not the Kyrimai Hotel, a nearby but totally different experience.
