Great hotel in the old town.

Nice hotel right in the old town. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. We had a small apartment. Great. The mattresses were a bit soft, but that is a matter of taste. The pillow is a bit small, but that is complaining at a high level. Very nice reception and great staff. Great breakfast. Highly recommended.

Really nice hotel with great staff

Usually I would stay at the HKK, but their prices are now very high, so I came across this hotel and was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel and its staff.
Nice large room,clean and well maintained hotel with really helpful staff in reception,really made me welcome.
Breakfast was good quality with hot and cold choices,great bread rolls.
Really liked the sauna,which they get ready for you, just let the know beforehand.
Some great little restaurants wright on your doorstep.

Nice hotel very centrally located to the winter market.

We were greeted very friendly and accompanied by the reception directly to our room. A lift is also available.
The room was spacious and very clean.
The shower large and barrier-free.
Breakfast was included in the price.
It was very rich. Nothing was missing and it was constantly being refilled.
In the evening we reserved a table in the in-house restaurant and ate excellently there.
The hotel is a clear recommendation for visiting the old town or the winter market.

From the beginning, arrival at the hotel to the end Departure from the hotel – Sunday to Tuesday 2 days where we want to say thumbs up for the hotel.
Welcome and check inn at reception, nice and polite staff, everything went very quickly and smoothly.
Our room, overlooking the town hall, just right of the size for 2 people, all very clean. It was already difficult to vacate the room after 2 nights.
A large breakfast room, nice and courteous staff, had everything under control. The breakfast buffet was extensive and adequate.
And from the hotel to the potato house, it's just a stone's throw away. Here you can have very good lunch and dinner. The food very plentiful and priced everything fine. You should register here beforehand, especially in the evening. Again, for the staff, the grading: Great!
All in all a few nice but too short days in Wernigerode.

Robust central accommodation

We were accommodated on the first floor. The location facing the street was a little louder when guests from the restaurant were standing in front of the door (smoking) and talking. It's probably more strenuous in the summer. But that's how it worked, unless the street cleaners came by.
Because two buildings were turned into a hotel, it was a bit tricky to get out of the hotel: via the elevator, in the courtyard instead of taking the door to the city center, which is only accessible when the restaurant is open.
Parking spaces are limited, but there is another hotel parking lot and a parking garage in the immediate vicinity.
We liked the two restaurants: definitely make a reservation.
Breakfast was ok, you get assigned seats. Friendly staff at reception and buffet.
