This hotel has air-conditioned rooms, a free internet terminal and a 24-hour bar. It is one underground stop from Munich’s Allianz Arena and 2 minutes from the A9 motorway.

All-round solid – with a particularly sweet breakfast plus
I spent two nights at the ibis Munich Garching (double room for single use). The room was very clean, with large double bed and full-length mattress, also upstairs with beautiful views. There's really nothing to complain about here.
The reception was friendly and uncomplicated. A small minus: Of two elevators, one was out of service, which was a bit impractical at times.
Breakfast was rich and varied – something for everyone. Of particular note are the homemade waffles: freshly prepared in waffle iron and refineable with sugar, cinnamon or colorful sprinkles as desired – a real highlight.
Overall a pleasant stay, which you can recommend in good conscience.

Good value for money
The hotel is located near a train station and is easily accessible from the airport or downtown. The rooms were typical for an Ibis hotel: adequately sized, standard furnishings. Everything was very clean. The staff was very nice. I cannot evaluate the breakfast, as we had to leave very early. I would book the hotel again anytime.

Prima Hotel
Super conveniently located (direct metro connection) , a good, spacious room with work desk and a good breakfast buffet. Great for visiting Munich....and at fair prices.

I was a bit disappointed
This is a convenient hotel if you are visiting the nearby reaearch institutes. Its very close to the metro and only one stop from the centre of Grahcing or two from the research campus. Prices are very reasonable.
The room is tyoical IBIS. So simple but clean and functional. The staff were all very friendly.
I have stayed there before, but it was almost 15 years ago. Then I recall it had a very reasonable restaurant, but unfortunately not anymore. All they can offer are pizzas. The other problem is that there is no kettle in the room. Being able to make tea and coffee is really pleasant and I missed it. These two limitations mean I probably won't go back: there are plenty of other options in the area.

Room and amenities were great! They have a small dining area that you can order food from and some alcohol, there is events at time that travelers set up like karaoke, and location not too walkable but the train is right behind it and that was very very convenient! (Especially for the fest!)
