A lovely hotel well located in Arica lust a short walk from central shops, restaurants, the cathedral and museum. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and keen to please. The hotel has no lift but the staff were keen to help with the bags. Parking was free with a secure carpark just a block away.

A Hotel that cheats and lies around the pricing - well beyond it`s hayday

The Hotel was charging tax, even so the law clearly says:
Foreign guests do not have to pay taxes if:
a) That are not longer then 59 days in country (which you have do proof with the PDI- we did that)
b) You have to pay in foreign Currency (which we did by credit card, can be easily proven)
c) are not travelling on business (which we were not doing, our itenary can proof easily)
In between they were even lying to booking.com ("the law has changed recently")
Overall, the Hotel is also not in good shape -
No restaurant in a small village where no other decent options are available, not even a bar
The worst breakfast we had on our whole trip - and breakfast in Chile in general is nothing to write home about
The Hotel pool is in bad shape, the lawn partially not exisiting anymore
No windows to open - when you lease the door open animals might come in
........
Clearly, the price is overrated and what once was a good Hotel has suffered so that it is clearly not, what it claims to be....
Propably the hotel in Arica, that is under the same management, is behaving similar. They also looked at that case.

The Hotel was excellent in every aspect, the room was great, very clean. The personnel was very helpful and cordial.

Very nice and clean modern hotel with great amenities. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great shower with abundant and consistent hot water. Nice rooftop bar with view and some food selections. One of the better places to stay in Arica.
