Smart choice

I wanted a change of scene, different part of town, as the hostel I'd been staying at was getting to me a bit.
Smart has a pokier common area, but folk were friendly, cosy dorm, washing facilities fine.
And I could walk to the railway station next day, not too far away.
Much as I enjoyed Sofia, moving on was long overdue, explore more of the land.
Staff are great. Vitor has fluent English & sense of humour. Julius really good guy too.
Atmospheric retro bar Sterling Club a couple of blocks away where we passed a very enjoyable social evening.

Nice hostel!

Comfy bed with actual blankets, overall clean bathrooms, quiet place and peaceful neighbourhood. Staff is cool and available. Not far from city center too, and not far from metro station. A good experience that I recommence.

Amazing place with great Internet and Staff in Sofia downtown.

Very good place with nice atmosphere and amazing staff. Few meters away from the hostel is Sofia Synagogue and all tourist attractions. The place is very clean, comfortable beds, amazing atmosphere, there're air conditioner's . I would defiantly recommend.

Best place in Sofia

The staff were great. they helped me a lot to organize my trip around Bulgaria. The place is nearby Sofia Synagogue and really close to the touristic spots. The place was very clean and great atmosphere there. There is a mineral bath 200 meters away from the place. I would stay again definitely

Clean hostel with bathroom issues

The hostel is about 20min walk from the bus station & is on both maps.me & google so easy to find, just make sure you look for the street numbers as the sign is only on the door. It’s ran by a very friendly girl who will tell you as much or as little info as you need. WiFi was strong.Room was clean & it’s on the edge of town so easy to walk to everywhere.
What I didn’t like was I booked a double room but we were given bunk beds that were very difficult to get on & off due to the steps being badly designed. The toilet shower is a terrible design, there’s only one so if someone is having a shower then no one can use the toilet, plus it’s a “wet room” so if you just need the toilet chances are it’s going to be wet when you use it. The kitchen is very small, they would be better to turn this into a toilet & have the other as a shower
