Nice hotel with great views for a nice price.
We had a nice room with great views, along the highway. For our ideal, since we were passing through here to Croatia.
The beds were good, the room looks neat. Madam indicated herself that we could possibly eat at a nearby pizzeria. We walked over there. Nice walk of about 15 minutes and the pizzeria is really recommended.
This was a really lovely place, see the pictures.

Advised
We stayed at this property for a weekend. Since there were 3 of us they gave us an apartment. The latter was brand new, clean, very warm and welcoming, equipped with everything you could need. The apartment included a porch for the car, which was very convenient given that it snowed during the night.
Breakfast served in the main building 50 meters from the apartment. Simple but filling.
Since I often come to these areas I will take it into consideration for future stays.

Never again!
Breakfast is perfectly fine.
The decor is lovingly decorated and well-kept.
Service: not acceptable at all. The manager is very "brusque" even towards guests. If you behave "wrong", you will be rigorously reprimanded.
On the day of rest, there are no drinks, not even from a vending machine, and you are told that tap water is much better.

Beautiful location for short trip at the foot of the mountain
delicious scrambled eggs; great breakfast view of castle Landskron which is also within a great walking distance (30 minutes through the forest); quiet location despite closeness to Autobahn; quiet and well ventilated rooms; very clean and comfy bathroom; lovely hosts

Perfection
Stayed for one night on my way across Europe. Chose Waldorf for price and location. Is it the best in the area? I have no idea. But for what I required it was perfect. Quite isolated, lovely staff, food available in the evening, good breakfast, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, good shower, lots of parking......what more can I say.
